Terms of use and services

Important contracting information: The website currently provides enquiries and appointment booking but no automatic checkout. Before payment, you will receive a written service confirmation identifying the legal operator, the agreed scope, total price, delivery target, applicable tax, cancellation terms and governing law.

About these terms

These terms govern use of the Finance Career Foundry website. They also form the starting terms for career-support services, but the written service confirmation supplied before payment will take priority where it contains engagement-specific details.

Website information

Website content, the diagnostic and free introductory call provide general educational career information. They do not create a client relationship and are not professional legal, immigration, tax, investment, financial or regulated recruitment advice.

Services and prices

The introductory clarity call and Career Hub tools are free. Personal services are paid and priced by written quote before you commit. Any tax, accelerated delivery, additional revisions, unusually complex requirements or work outside the stated deliverables will be explained before you agree to proceed. Prices may change, but an accepted written quotation will remain valid for the period stated in it.

Forming an engagement

An enquiry, diagnostic result or introductory call is not an acceptance of work. An engagement begins only when both parties accept the written service confirmation and any required payment has been received. We may decline work that falls outside our expertise, capacity or professional standards.

Indicative deliverables

Delivery and revisions

Any website delivery period is a target beginning after payment and receipt of all necessary information, not a guarantee. Delays in providing information or feedback may change the delivery date. Where one revision round is included, consolidated revision comments must normally be supplied within seven calendar days of the draft. New objectives or substantial additional content may require a separate quotation.

Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, check all final documents and ensure every application and interview statement remains truthful. You are responsible for removing confidential or restricted employer information. We will not invent employers, qualifications, responsibilities, achievements, dates, financial outcomes or other evidence.

Payment

The written confirmation will state the accepted payment method and due date. Work normally begins after cleared payment unless agreed otherwise. You are responsible for any bank, currency-conversion or intermediary charges disclosed before payment.

Cancellation and refunds

Where applicable consumer law provides a cooling-off period, you may cancel within that period by emailing [email protected]. If you expressly request work to begin during a statutory cancellation period, you may be charged a reasonable proportion for work completed before cancellation. Once a personalised service has been fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement, the right to cancel may end where the law permits. No term in these conditions removes mandatory consumer rights.

Rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours' notice where possible. A late cancellation or missed session may be treated as used where this was made clear in the written confirmation, except where mandatory consumer rights or exceptional circumstances apply.

Confidentiality

Information supplied for an engagement will be used only to assess, administer or deliver the service, subject to the Privacy Notice and lawful disclosure requirements. Sanitised material should always be used where possible.

Intellectual property

Website content, brand materials, methods and general resources remain protected and may not be copied, resold or republished without permission. After full payment, you may use your final personalised career documents for your own applications and professional profile. You do not acquire rights to underlying templates, methodologies or third-party material.

No guaranteed outcome

Career support can improve preparation and presentation but cannot guarantee interviews, promotions, employment offers, compensation, visa results or other outcomes. Hiring decisions remain entirely with employers and recruiters.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that restriction, we are not responsible for employer decisions, changes in labour-market conditions, indirect loss, loss of opportunity or reliance on unverified information supplied by a client. Any engagement-specific liability provision will be stated fairly in the written confirmation.

Third-party services

Cloudflare, Calendly, video-meeting, email, calendar and any future payment provider operate under their own terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes outside our reasonable control, although we will take reasonable steps to offer an alternative where this materially affects an agreed service.

Legal operator and governing law

The written service confirmation provided before payment will identify the legal operator, service address and governing law appropriate to the engagement. No paid engagement should proceed until those details have been supplied and accepted.
